How long does it take to get my report after paying?

You can view the report immediately after payment on our website.

You'll also receive an email a few minutes later with a PDF copy that can be printed.

Why is there no MOT or mileage history on my report?

MOT & mileage history is available for vehicles that are over 3 years old and have completed at least one MOT test in England, Scotland or Wales.

There’s no need to pay to access this information as it’s included in our free MOT check service, however it’s still included in all paid reports for reference.

Why haven’t I received my report by email?

If you haven’t received an email after making a payment to us:

  • Check that your email address was entered correctly
  • Check your junk folder

If you still haven’t received an email with the report, please contact us, ensuring you include the vehicle registration.

Why is a payment being taken from my account each month?

Any payments to us will show as cartaxcheck or cartaxcheck.co.uk in your bank or PayPal account.

If you would like to query a payment, please send us an email with the following details:

  • Date of the payment
  • Amount of the payment
  • The vehicle registration
